These chairs came from the SS APOLLO, but their specifics remain somewhat of a mystery. They are fine fixtures from the EMPRESS OF CANADA era, but what is not certain is whether they were first or tourist class and whether they were from a public room or one of the ship's many cabins. From the images of the ship that I have been able to dig up, they most resemble the chairs from the former first class Salle Frontenac dining room, although they do not have the exact same cross supports on the lower parts of the legs.

The EMPRESS OF CANADA's Salle Frontenac dining room with similar chairs. From THE LAST WHITE EMPRESSES by Clive Harvey on Carmania Press.

The lovely wood frames are in structurally excellent condition, but could use a bit of polish or refinishing to restore them to their original lustre. The upholstery is not original and may date from APOLLON's last major refit in 1997/8.
