Details of the brass handle and an old gouge in the unpainted side.

There were two of these remarkably beautiful doors in the officer's mess of the ANASTASIS (ex VICTORIA) when the ship arrived at Alang. This door was painted white on one side but otherwise remained intact. A gouge in the woodwork appears to have happened years ago and can easily be remedied if desired.

ANASTASIS, the former Lloyd Triestino Line VICTORIA of 1953, was a time capsule of Italian elegance. I have listed and priced this item "as is" but with some work, it could be a jaw dropper.
