Polish Ocean Lines Serving Plates
Plates and a close up of the logo. Photos and copyright Peter Knego 2009.
White China Stylized PMH Logo Serving Plates
I'm not entirely sure what ship these came from but they were at Alang in 2007, freshly delivered to the crockery traders. Alexandria, Virginia-based ocean liner expert, publisher and book dealer, Charles Dragonette assures me these are, indeed, generic Polish Ocean Lines crockery, possibly from some recently scrapped container ships. The logo resembles the more familiar POL pattern found on ships like the lamented STEFAN BATORY (ex MAASDAM). Thanks, Charlie!!!
Two sizes: 15" by 10.5 " wide (3 of these) and 13" by 9" wide (4 of these).
Limited quantity at $7.50 each. Note: logo is slightly worn on most of these.
