This handsome panel is of mysterious origin. The scene depicted appears to be Hanseatic or Danish but others have pointed out that it could be Atlantic French or even British. It was purchased at Alang in 2007 and could be from any number of vessels, including the ex Hurtigrute NORDNORGE or even SYDNEY (ex ODESSA) or ASSEDO (ex SHOTA RUSTAVELI).

It has fine details and a lovely, rich patina of brown, deep copper, and gold.
