Ironically, the former PEARL OF SCANDINAVIA (ex FINLANDIA) has just gone to China for scrapping. These plates were not from that ship, although I am sure plenty like them were used on board. Instead, they lingered in obscurity at Alang for several years when we found them while searching for other items at the traders.

For a brief while, Ocean Cruise Lines, Paquet and Pearl Cruises operated under the same corporate umbrella. These must have made their way at some point to the SS RHAPSODY, the former STATENDAM of 1957.
