Stylish Finmare First Class Cups and Saucers by Ginon

Cup measurements:  4.25 inches wide (with handle)

3.5 inches wide inside handle, 2.5 inches tall

Saucer measurements:  6.5 inches wide

There were only a handful of these First Class cup and saucer sets still aboard the former AUGUSTUS when she was beached at Alang in 2011.  These are beautifully made service items by Ginori and feature the gold and blue anchor logo of Finmare, the state-operated amalgamation of Italian Line, Adriatica and Lloyd Triestino from the mid-1960s onward.  These replaced the red and gold crown logo that was formerly used in first class aboard the Italian Line ships.

 

I have more saucers than cups, both in extremely limited quantities.
